Turkey is in over it’s head
The past couple of weeks have been a stand up comedy show by the Turkish government.
Turkey’s prime minister Arduan was going in public trying to show some muscles, asking Israel to apologize for it’s actions in the ship convoy where 9 terrorists were killed by the IDF trying to invade Israel.
Arduan claims that the convoy was peaceful and that the IDF is acting like a bully in the Mediterranean sea and that the siege on the Gaza strip should stop.
Even though the Palmer report show’s that the siege is legitimate and I am quite sure Turkey would have act the same under the circumstances, Arduan and his Turkish government insist that Israel will be on it’s knees asking for forgiveness.
We’ll mister Arduan, I guess you are not familiar with Israel and you’re own people – enough so here are some question for – maybe you can find some logic and answer – mainly yourself:
- There is no war between Turkey and Israel, why are you trying to cause one?Turkey and Israel were the best allies in the middle east, including economic treaties, military treaties, tourism was flourishing and so were businesses, so why are you trying to start a war?how would Turkey behave if Israel would send ships to Turkish shores, which are suspected to carry weapons for rebels and terrorists inside Turkey?
I am quite sure those ships would get sunk faster then you can say Arduan… - I would really like to know what does Mr. Arduan expect to happen next? Does he really expect Israel to apologize? Does he want war? Does he want to show his people that he has “the power” to command the Israeli prime minister? Think logically – none of Arduan’s demands will happen in real life, the best he can achieve ( maybe that’s what he want) is a burning middle east.
- If aiding the Palestinians is really Arduans goal, why doesn’t he send them supplies through the Israeli authorities who are more then willing to convey those supplies to the Palestinian?
- Talking about other countries is easy, sounding humane when it comes to other people is even easier, what about the Armenian genocide that Turkey was responsible to? Did everybody forget that? Did Arduan forget that?
Any one observing Arduan’s behavior can easily see similarity to a child wanting other children toys and when he wont be able to get them’ he’ll start crying – we hope it wont be too late to back down.
Stories and tales about israeli injustice are heard from Arduan’s mouth everyday now, and it seems that he doesn’t have a lot to say since Israeli prime minister Mr. Binyamin Netanyahu is completely ignoring him and his demands (quite rightfully) it makes Arduan seem like the boy who screams to mommy….
Perhaps, If Arduan was such a peace loving person, perhaps he should have not allowed those ships to go out on the convoy which was bound to end as it did, perhaps he should have tried diplomacy back then – before he sent those ships to create the provocation that they did.
Israel never refused humanitarian support or aid to anyone, on the contrary, it was the first to send aid to any catastrophy on the planet – Including the last earthquake in Turkey which left so many dead and many more with no roof over their heads – The rescue and recovery crews were composed mainly out of Israeli people and requirement.

The fog of war is in the horizon
While the rest of the world is celebrating Bin Laden’s death thinking it will mark a turning point in the war on terror, in Jerusalem, thousands of Muslims are praying for his soul in the Al-Aqtza mosque.
As Recent events show in the middle east Arab leaders cannot keep a stable leadership nor can they control their citizens.
With these two facts in mind, how can anyone even begin to imagine, Israel accepting the 67 borders in the UN decision 242 from 1948(!) ?
63 years have passed since the jewish state was founded and the borders were set, in those 63 years, The Palestinians NEVER accepted the UN decision nor do they accept it now, Abu-Mazen still says the Palestinians will never recognize the Israeli state (which is part of the 242 decision) and that Israel will be Palestine again one day.
Only an Idiot would think voting for such a decision in the UN will provide nothing else then an all out WAR between Israel and whom ever will choose to intervene in the conflict should the voting decide on a Palestinian state in the 1967 borders.
Israel will NEVER allow such a decision to take place in the field, there is too much that has happened since we wanted to live in peace in 1947 and right now, millions of Israelis will be at risk should the border pass in the 1967 layout.
One should really come here and see how close the 1967 border line passes from Israeli cities and due to recent events in the southern part of Israel where missiles and rockets are lunched every day on Israeli cities, Israel will NOT allow that to happen in: Tel Aviv, Netanya, Hadera, Haifa, Jerusalem, Ramat Gan etc…
Sadly, the feeling in Israel is a pre-war feeling, erevyone is ready, and although no defcon has been declared, we, the Israeli citizens know better, we can smell the fog of war coming towards the region.
This is not just another article about who is better then whom, what is happening now in Syria, Lybia, Egypt etc…may be dwarfed by the upcoming war in which the blood spilled will be on the hands of those who vote “yes” for a Palestinian state.

President Shimon Peres is visiting Switzerland
The latest joke from the palestinian community is this:
“President Shimon Peres…” whois by the way won the nobel prize for peace “…should be arrested and courted for his active part in operation cast led”.
As funny as the line above may sound, there are people around the globe who will believe it while reading it. Fot those people I am writing this post.
Firstly I would like to say that as an Israeli, I never voted for Mr. Peres nor to any of his political parties (he was a member in several over the years). BUT, I do appreciate Mr. Peres as a person who was active – in the full extent of the phrase – in building the state of Israel. A person who always sided with peace even when the public demanded blood on both sides. A rational and caring person who never asked anything but the good of the region (the middle east that is).
With that said, I really try and understand those pro-palestinian “organizations” or as some may refer to them – Terror Cells – when they publish such a demand for the Swiss government – to arrest Shimon Peres and “bring him to justice for crimes in operation cast led”…
How about we deal with some recent events?
1. How about issuing an arrest warrant for each and every member of the palestinian authority (I would call them government , but they’re not) for the last rocket lunches that were shot towards Israeli cities in the aim of Murdering whole families?
2. How about condemning the massacre in Itamar last month?
3. How about issuing an arrest warrant for Mr. Hassan nasralla for the hundreds of rockets he launched in aim of killing Israeli Children?
4. How about Bringing Mr. Bashar Assad for killing hundreds of his own people just for demonstrating a few days ago?
5. How About condemning and demanding justice for the 3000 who dies in the twin towers in 9/11?
I could go on and on but I think it would be pointless the method of throwing sand in people’s eyes is worn out, people don’t believe such lies and accusations and no one thinks Palestinians are innocent anymore.
We all know the murderous nature of most Palestinian Organizations such as the Hamas, Islamic Jihad etc… and we all have seen it in actions.
We all saw the Palestinians literally dance on the rooftops while the twin towers were burning and while scad missiles were showering down on Tel Aviv.
Anyone who has even a slight sense of justice and logic can see what is going on, Palestinians don’t want peace, if they have no war, most of their political parties have no reason to exist, and they cannot incite anyone while there is peace.
Some people here in Israel still believe there will be peace one day, me, I stopped believing long ago, sadly, there will always be war in the region and Israel will always defend itself and keep maintaining one of the strongest armies in the world.
I would love to hear what you have to say – please post a comment below.

Two can play that game
Iran’s game of “we are not creating a nuclear weapon we just want nuclear technology…” is now played by the Americans as well.
The three “hikers” arrested in Iran recently pleaded not guilty of espionage and claim they were hiking the mountains and hills of Kurdistan as far fetched as that may seem, Iran’s revolutionary court now has to deal with the same difficulties the rest of the world is facing. It is quite obvious that the American hikers were not just hiking, the area they claim to hike at is a war zone and I find it hard to believe anyone will willingly go there unless they have a death wish. I am not saying the hikers are spies but maybe they hoped to get some scoops that will be worth money afterwards or something of the sort.
The Iranian court is now facing a big problem, a trial must take place and they need to find real evidence if they wish to keep these guys behind bars. The way I see it the Iranians have two optional moves in this political chess game:
- They find evidence or make up evidence claiming the hikers are indeed spies on an espionage mission risking an international incident.
- They release the hikers and try to “look good” to the international community which will get them some “humanity points” which they need so badly.
In any case, I think the Iranians will ultimately gain from this incident, at the moment the nuclear weapons issues is somewhere in the background when international efforts to release the American prisoners are taking the headlines spot.
The question which remains is what will the US do about two of it’s citizens being held in a foreign country under false pretense.
The old proud US would ask nicly then set an ultimatum, lets wait and see what the Obama US will do….

you have the right to …
How far are we willing to go in order to preserve our democracy? What is considered freedom of speech and what is considered incitement for terror? The thin line never ceases to move around and as it seems, governments all over the globe in the western world don’t really have a straight answer.
In the meantime, Those who wish to engage in terrorist acts are winning, they say what they want, when they want to whom they want and inflame the masses – all in the name of preserving our right to express ourselves.
Recent western culture development came a long way in the past decades and we are now – as a society more equal then ever, but while we achieved such an important goal, those who wish us ill took advantage of this quality of ours and used it to destroy the very foundation of the right to express ourselves.
The equation then, is quite simple:
Human rights = better life to those who wish it = fertile ground for terror
Sadly, this is the reality we face today as we keep growing as a society. We want the freedom to do more and the ability to create, learn and teach but in the same time we provide education and materials for the bad guys.
The main problem is that same thin line, there is not even one politician that can say: “This is where the line crosses” we are always in a blur in this issue and our main fear – to be deprived of our rights is our main flaw as well. The fear that if we deny these rights from our enemies on our land, it may also deny our own rights.
Take for example the eavesdropping issue in the US, the whole country went against the idea that the country can eavesdrop and follow citizens acts and phone calls, but did anyone ever stopped to think – “hey – this will stop the bad guys as well…”? The answer is no, we are a selfish species and as one, we primarily make sure we have what we need and only then do we look out for our fellow men.
In the meantime, while we argue, make points, claim our claims and debate whether it is right for a country to stealthily eavesdrop on it’s citizens terrorists are use the chaos in this area to build more bombs and plan their evil plans.

The latest joke from Turkey
Well I was really laughing when I red it, the prime minister of Turky Mr. Araduan is calling for the a Turkish ban on Israeland Israeli products!!! , here’s a news flash Mr. Araduan, Turkey needs Israel more than Israel needs Turky (if at all…) the fact that Israelis will not get visas to Turkey will make a lot of people shed a tear – simply – not Israeli people, my “guess” is that due to latest events, the most powerful economic part of Turkish tourism – Israelis will not be comming to visit your beutiful yet radical country, so it is understandable that you are trying to make it seem like you are “not allowing Israeli in Turky” but anyone with a bit of common sense can say that Israeli feet will not walk the land of Turky in the near future.
Regarding the Turkish minister of foreign affairs saying that soon Jerusalem will be Palestine’s capital city and that “soon ” you’ll be praying in the el-aqtsa masgue, some of it may be true – anyone is free to pray in Jerusalem – that is true, but the part on it being the Palastinian capital is a far fetched idea and anyone who believed you must believe fairies exist as well…. the day Jerusalem will be under threat from Turky or any other country will be the starting day of WWIII mark my words – don’t mess with Israel – we are polite and nice and really try to get along with, well, almost anyone (even you!) but dont spread salt where it hurts waking a lion from it’s sleep is never a good idea – surly not when you have a wall behind you (Iran) and no where to run.
So my suggestion is keep it cool, be calm – stop making a lot of noise – it may incite or spark exitement among your “cleaver” citizens but no one really takes you or your words seriously…not even me

Follow me!- Bibi Netanyahu sets an example
In the Past the IDF was known for it’s principle which , through the years became a bit vague and now comes Bibi Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister and sets an example showing we still have our ideology and the IDF still have it’s foundations straight.
Bibi suggested that he and several other members of the Israeli government will stand before the investigation team that will investigate the Flotillia infiltration into Israeli territory, but he insisted that the IDF soldier will be investigated only by IDF officials.
We have a saying in Israel regarding the IDF which is a quote from our first prime minister the late David Ben Gurion and it goes:
“Let every Hebrew mother know, that the fate of her children is trusted with commanders which are worthy…”
It means that IDF commanders have always set an example, in our fighting philosophy the commander stands at the head of the strike force and not in the operations room giving orders. Bibi has done just that, and this is exactly why I think he is the most appropriate man to lead our country.
