Israel’s reply to Turkish demands

As expected, Israel did not comply to Turkish president’s demands from earlier today asking the Israeli government to officially apologize for reproaching the Turkish ambassador to Israel about his country not doing anything to prevent the broadcast of an Antisemitic TV series.

Again I cannot free myself from the thought: what is worse? reproaching an ambassador publicly? or Racism and hatered?

you be the judge!

Israel and Turky sitting on a tree ….

I am not sure about the rest of this sentence, but it sure do looks like something children say to each other.

After the things said by the Israeli deputy minister of foreign affairs to the Turkish Ambassador in Israel, and the apology he published, the Turkish president is demanding an apology from the Israeli government by this evening or….he will retrieve the Turkish ambassador back to Turkey. Wow, man what will Israeli do without the Turkish ambassador? is this guy for real? does he really think the Israeli Government will apologize for what some deputy minister said, when all this time the Turkish Government is allowing the Antisemitic TV series to play with no regret? I have something really important to say to the Turkish president: Get a Grip! see whats going on in your country! take a deep look inside and arrest the creators, producers, the Cast and everyone involved in that TV series for racist behavior! Then after you do that and control your nation to be respectful and equal to all…maybe someone here in Israel (and the world for that matter) will take you seriously.

Just a reminder though to the Turkish president, in case you forgot or no advisor of yours did not mention it: a considerable part of Turkish tourism relies on Israeli tourists coming to Turkey for their annual or biannual vacation, your action and word do not contribute to the way people in Israel view your country or people around the globe anyhow, needless to say, Turkish tourists hardly reach Israel… So maybe you should think again before you place an ultimatum before the Israeli government.
