Press and public opinion

how is it that Muslims are always depicted as the abused ones, those who wish no one harm and only want to live in peace, and we, the western world who are always busy stopping their terrorist acts, are always the “bad guys”?

How has the world become so blind that it cannot see the sarcastic use of democracy and civil rights done by Muslim terrorists to achieve public opinion sympathy?

I think the main reason is the media’s thirst for scoops and stories that will gain ratings, in other words, one of our freedom rights – the freedom of press is actually working against us, and by us I mean western civilization in general.

It is much easier to write a story about a little Muslim boy who got hurt in a battle that he “did not take part in”, a story that will make most people shed a tear and obviously buy more papers or watch more news on the TV which will sell more commercials, then to write about the real reasons such as that boy being used as a human shield by terrorists who fire missiles on innocent civilians.

A story on riots in Jerusalem will gain mire popularity then a story about the guard who fired a gun on Palestinians who threw killer rocks at him while he was on his way home to his wife and kids and action which caused the riots.

A “fascinating” story on how American Muslims have rights and how they should be allowed to build a mosgue in the very place 3000 Americans were murdered in the name of that same religion and it’s principles at the twin towers ground zero in Manhattan.

In short, I guess what I am trying to say is that we have no one but ourselves to blame in the terror spree we are witnessing all around the world these days. It is funny, but in my eyes, the safest place terror wise – is Israel, we know our enemies here, we know how they act and how an “innocent aid ship convoy” is actually an armament race to arm terrorists in the Gaza strip.

Europe is waking up from it’s terror slumber but it is a bit late now, Islam has almost taken over Europe, as the Lybian leader – muamar Kadafy once said – “we will take Europe without firing a single bullet”, we are just wondering – how long before the US will fall into the evil arms of Islam radicals.

The Unthinkable

Friday I sat down in front the TV and watched a movie named unthinkable. The movie itself was interesting enough to keep me awake until it’s end but the plot is what I wish to talk about in my article.

In the movie, an American Muslim Terrorist planted nuclear bombs in 3 different locations or cities if you will across the USA which will destroy those cities if his demands are not met by then.

After trying humanitarian investigation methods the US army and government call upon a “special” investigator with methods’ how can I say it, a bit different then what we are accustomed to in the west. The new investigator is depicted as a sadist in the beginning cutting fingers, tearing out fingernails etc… and everything a western person would define as cruel and sadistic.
BUT, the plot thickens when a few hours are left to the deadline and everybody – including a bleeding heart FBI female agent ask that investigator to “do his thing” and get the information that will save millions. The investigator asks that FBI agent to specify what exactly should he do, as if seeking for approval from her to justify what he is doing, but she cant say the specific words. Eventually the terrorist’s wife is killed in front of him, and he still doesn’t talk, and then his kids are entered into the torture chamber with him (although nothing is done to harm them) and the terrorist specifies where the bombs are located.

Now, there is actually a moral question here and a big one, and that’s what I liked about the movie, how long will one be willing to go to save millions’ and don’t answer right up, for example: Will you be able to hurt children if you were put in that situation? If you knew that by killing or maiming 2,3,5 kids in order to save 10 million people – would you do it?
For us, people of the western world it is a tough question, but for Muslim countries like Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon etc… the answer is pretty obvious – yes they will. Recently they sentenced a women in Iran to be killed by stoning for cheating her husband, so think what they would do if someone threatened to detonate a bomb in the middle of Tehran…

The moral question keeps rising, but the main idea evades us, we treat our fellow men with dignety and respect, we respect life , ours and other people’s, Terrorists don’t.
The latest example is the Masgue next to ground zero, there are so many places on this blue marble we call earth to build Masgues, why does it have to be ground zero?
Let me ask the question in a different way, can we build a synagogue or a church next to the Masjid al-Haram? I wonder what will be the fate of the one even suggesting that idea…
If Israel for example will fire rockets on Palestinian civilians on [urpose like tha Hamas fires on Israeli Civilians what will happen then?

We are allowing our democracy and moral to be abused by Muslims radicals and Muslims in general. They go and do their deeds out of “innocence” and the west is always the conqueror and oppressor. This is why the world is headed to the biggest cultural clash in history, Islam is spreading fast and the consequences are catastrophic. Soom, there will be a Masgue in every American street, and the land of the free may return to be the wild west – yet again.

Democracy killed us – did we say that already?

I am shocked at the American public. Their elected president, the leader of “the land of the free” has just backed up the building of a mosque near ground zero claiming that Muslims have the right to build a mosgue near ground zero on his latest trip to Florida.

Indeed I too believe in freedom of religion, but there is a limit to every joke. Terrorists are making the US look like ignorant fools, they are pushing all the right buttons at once.

A couple of years ago they killed over 3000 Americans and destroyed a national monument, a piece of American history in the name of Islam, and now, the will also have a memorial for those terrorists that died in the bombings – only in America!

I ask the American people, where do you draw the line? When will you understand that the same rights you are protecting so jealously are the ones that will destroy you? I mean what’s next? Maybe change the flag to represent the rising Islamic population? Instead of stars maybe , again in the name of freedom, you will put a star and crescent for each state, you know so Muslims wont feel bad about themselves, and maybe reshape the statue of liberty with the face of Bin-Laden, after all it’s the land of the free….(?!)

Next you can replace the eagle with a camel and instead “In god we trust” write on the different dollar bills “In Allah we trust”.

Sarcasm aside, what are you Americans waiting for? A bullet in the face? Weren’t the twin towers enough? Does someone need to spell TERRORIST so you’ll know it’s one?

Not all Muslims are Terrorists….

But Most Terrorists are muslims

This is the slogan of a bumper sticker I saw today and it kinda got me thinking if the world realizes that. It is after all a fact which nobody on this planet can deny – Most terrorists are muslims, there are a few groups that actually practice terrorism which are not muslim. Isn’t that enough to make some rule and laws? isn’t this fact enough to make our democratic souls and bleeding hearts think twice before raising the flag of freedom on every government or military operation against Muslim radicals?

The main problems is this:

We know that terror comes from Islam, and we know that the next 9/11 will be done by Msulims, but we fear for our own freedom to talk on the phone without someone listening to us and we fear that one of those corrupt politicians might misuse a law banning lets say religious incitement or forbidding mosques in certain places’ we fear those things so much that we are willing to risk our own life – literally to defend those principles.

The next time you vote – take a look at this sticker and think again….

The Ramadan is here and comes terror.

100$ UMS

100$ UMS

The Ramadan, a holy month for all Muslims is here and with it we are witnessing, as we do every year, the incitement and violence that this religion is producing.

Inciting TV shows which make people believe that Israel, the US, many European countries etc… are killing “Muslim brothers”. Such is a new drama show from the Hamas which shows movies from suicide bombings, the killing of Israeli citizens etc… with so much of an itch to their conscious.

As opposed to other politically correct people – I blame Islam!

There is no other religion, nor were there a religion so full of hate and preaching to violence such as Islam. Many Muslims claim that Islam is a beautiful religion teaching it’s believers to love all things on earth – well I fail to see that in the midst of the latest Terror spree in the past years coming from Islamic groups in the name of their Allah.

People Think that this type of articles such as the one I am writing are inciting, well I call it – saying things as they are!, Islam has produced more violent acts then any other religion, Islam’s so called Jihad is making people go crazy – cut themselves with knives, sacrifice their kids(!!) for Shahid in suicide bombings and pray that they die a marter’s death. I cannot even think of a father or a mother wanting their children to die, such people do not deserve to live at all , let along have kids of their own.

In my eyes, things will escalate and the Islam will eventually be forbidden in western countries – either that or a third world war in which the allies will be western civilization against all Muslim\Arab countries.

It’s a real shame because I am sure that not all Muslims are bad, not all Muslims want blood or support terrorism, but the fact remains – Islam creates chaos. No life loving person wishes for chaos and I am sure that if you ask anyone around the globe what do they prefer, prohibiting Islam as a religion in their country while denying some people the freedom of religion, or risk their kids getting hurt in a bombing by an Islamic terrorist – I am sure you will a unanimous answer.

Islamic haircuts

The newest joke from Iran: Recommended Islamic haircuts for the young muslim!

Well restrictions and limitations and denying basic rights from the people of Iran were only a matter of time, now, there is a recommended haircut by the government of Iran which will soon enough become a law in Iran and people walking in the streets of Tehran not cutting their hair according to Iran’s guideline will probably be arrested and interrogated (probably also punished) for their “crime”.

The haircut guidelines were unveiled in the Hijab and chastity festival (can there be a festival of opression?) which is aimed to show young Muslims it is possible to look good and feel good without the “horrible” western fashion.

It is both funny and sad, freedom of speech and creation is completely denied from people in Islamic states, those same people come to western countries and claim these rights as their birth right. I really want to see one Palestinian or any other arab go on the Iranian Parliament stand talking against Iran like they do all over the globe – and in the Israeli Knesset.

All men are equal?

I believe in that statement with all my heart, but to every ideal there is a red line. Especially when there are those who take advantage of such an Ideal.

The US is trying so hard to stay withing the deceleration of independence boundaries and be politically correct all the time, they provide an excellent breeding ground for terrorists. They always try to treat everyone equally , which is admirable, but they don’t take into account that those terrorists are conspiring and planning their bombings and ironically use US resources to perform their plans.

I think the main problem is isolating those who wish to engage in terrorism from those who wish to live their lives in a free country. Well, I’m afraid that is impossible, but, there is a matter of appearance and religion. De facto, you don’t see Christians blowing up themselves all around the globe, you don’t see Jews blowing up themselves all around the globe, no Buddhists and the list goes on… but one religion has lots of terrorists blowing up themselves all over the world in the name of what they call “God” and a “holy war” they call Jihad. You guessed it right – Islam.

Now, as a human being and a father, I don’t really care about non militant Muslims, and I would be very happy to live with Muslims peacefully, but the fact is that when I see Muslims (mainly Arabs) I try to stay away, the mere thought of a suicide bomber hiding underneath an Arab person makes me stay away by instinct and protect myself and my family. I don’t care if you believe in equality and non discrimination, in such a situation, you probably think the same as I do and stay away, especially in places like bus stations (or buses), Airports and Airplanes, buildings with lots of people and every place with a potential to be a target for those people.

I am not asking to ban all Muslims but I do think that Muslims have no right to object the suspicions people have as their own religion is the trigger for most of the 20th and 21st centuries Terrorist acts.

An to the US government I say, get real, do what your people elected you to do, not what you think will get you elected next time. Protect your people and don’t deflect public opinions with petty yet rating sweeping issues.

Holocaust memorial day

Every year the whole Jewish community around the world is bowing it’s head in memory of the 6 million Jews that were killed in WWII. The Jewish community is not the only one hurt by antisemitism but it was and still is one of the most persecuted community around the globe.

For some reason, people tend to blame other people for their problems. Why? Mainly because it’s easier and it means that your problems are not your fault, which is always a nice thought.

In addition, those who incite the mob and inflame antisemitism know that it’s easy to promise when blaming those who cannot react or will not react.

Luckily for the Jewish people, we now have a country and the power to defend ourselves but still the thought that people dislike you just because of the way you look, the way you speak, things you believe in or any other characteristics – most of them not under your full control, is somewhat disturbing and makes one ponder what really changed in the past decades since the holocaust.

In my eyes at least, not much has changed in the world’s public opinion, those who hate people by ethnicity still do hate the same way, and those who reject racism still reject it, but the main change is in the balance of forces.

If 70 years ago the Nazis could take Jews into the gas chambers and no one really cared, now the Jewish state of Israel is the home of all Jews, and every single Jew in the world knows that he or she have a place of refuge on this planet, somewhere they will always be welcome in, a place that they can feel safe in.

That is why the existence of the state of Israel is so important, and that is why we fight for it with our lives and our parents did, and probably – our children will, the Israeli state is our last line of defense in the face of events such as the holocaust.

The reason I took the time to write this article is to maybe make a point to those thinking Israel is just another country which was formed like other countries, it is much more than that, it is a place where cultures mix together creating a wonderful cultural soup in which one may find traditions, food etc. from anywhere around the globe. There is no native people in Israel, Israelis are actually Jews from around the globe gathered together with one goal and one goal alone – create and preserve a home for the Jewish people!

The 9.11 Jewish conspiracy?!?

PDF Version

PDF Version

Has the world gone completely insane? I am sure my readers are mentally well and capable of telling right from wrong but some of the Internet users who visit websites may not all that much about Israel, Israelis and Jewish people.

I will not post the website which triggered this article as to not provide publicity to such a website which in my eyes is racist and antisemitic, but I will tell you that people behind such websites are usually mentally ill, and just as I mentioned before, If you look long enough you can find a connection between a potato and Mars.

Well my anger is really about a group of people that claim that the 9.11 bombing air air-rade however you prefer to call it, is caused by Jewish people! Would you believe such ignorance? Maybe the Jews are to blame on the Haiti earthquake or the Ozone layer? I am quite sure that these people can find the connection given enough time!

The whole idea behind their claim is that the Al Qaida attacks were “motivated” by the US support to Israel, and that Jewish people in the US are the cause for that. Can anything be more absurd than that? The mere thought that such people exist gives me the creeps! I thought they wer all gone when the 3rd Reich disappeared but I guess a few leftovers were left uncleaned.

In any case I will not tell you know how good Jews are to civilization, and how many scientists, Journalists etc. contributed to the human kind, nor will I try to make you sympathize with Jewish history. Just a thought for all those with antisemitic opinions and ideals, you may be next.

Attacking a whole nation\country\religion is never a good thing to do, I know such people don’t have high intellect but still some logic may remain in such hateful minds, so what you are doing can easily happen to you no matter what ethnic group you belong to what religion you believe in and how secure you think you are in your country.

Websites like the one I encountered make me feel proud and glad that us Jewish have our own country and can defend ourselves from such narrow minded people, to tell you the truth even though we have our own problems here in Israel, there is no where I would rather live in, no place I will feel as secure as I do in my own country – Israel.

Evening update 17.1.2010

PDF Version

PDF Version

Well Today as you may have noticed I did not have the time to write a morning update so I am not avoiding my duties and today’s update will be an evening update.

A rather stormy evening here in Israel (21C is cold here ;) ) a bit of rain, lots of wind and the wind chimes outside are making that beautiful music….God I love winter time!

Before the news – here are some photos from today:

On to the news and of course – my thoughts!

An article on an Israeli website (quite a respectable one might I add…) says “Turkey is getting closer to Iran in it’s policy then to Israel” which is supposedly quoted by a high ranking security source. Here’s what I think: Whats new? It’s been there the whole time, we just didn’t want to see it. Not to suggest Turkey is walking in Iran’s path but I have always felt the people on the street are not so fond of the west and Israel especially, you’d have to be stupid to think otherwise after an Israeli basketball team was almost lynched on the basketball court in Turkey while the IDF was fighting the terrorists in the Gaza strip.

That’s exactly the difference between ignorant people and enlightened people (not suggesting neither is ignorant) ignorant people don’t think – they act believing their acts will improve things, enlightened people think of the consequences before they act in order to benefit as much as possible from any situation – even the worse ones.

One more thing to admire: The pope Benedictus the 16th has visited the great synagogue in Rome in his ongoing efforts to get Jewish and Catholics together. I think if more people especially religious people would act like the pope, this world would really be a better place to live in, what have we fot if not each other? Say a disaster strikes (such as the one we witness in Haiti these days, do you think anyone will care what religion you are if you help them? That’s the whole point of religion, to be a better person, to help other people and not take life for granted for everything everywhere has its purpose!
